Altius partners with Business Objects, an SAP company

New relationship adds Business Objects skill sets to the company’s key competencies

4 June 2008 – Specialist business intelligence (BI) consultancy, Altius Consulting, is underlining its independent status by obtaining Silver Partner status with Business Objects, an SAP company and a world leader in business intelligence.

Already a long established partner of Microsoft and Oracle / Hyperion, the new relationship with Business Objects will provide Altius Consulting’s customers with access to a broader range of skill sets and expertise around some of the world’s leading BI and performance management tools.

“The nature of enterprise IT means that it’s incredibly rare that only one set of BI tools is being used throughout the entire business,” explains John Gateley, managing director with Altius Consulting. “Departmental technology pockets often exist, and the ability to work with and across a wide range of BI platforms is key to the long-term success of our business.

“Gaining Silver Partner status with Business Objects also complements Altius Consulting’s heritage in the finance and budgeting fields. Our team has extensive experience in these environments and having access to the forecasting and planning technologies offered by Business Objects will enable the business to further enhance its credentials.”
